Your prompt history is a more honest review than your calendar
My 2025 prompt history split 60% enterprise, 40% personal growth. Here is the prompt I used to audit my own year.
Your calendar shows where your time went; your prompt history shows what you were actually thinking about. It is easy to treat AI as a nine-to-five efficiency tool. When I reviewed my 2025 history, it told a richer story.
About 60% was enterprise work, where the assistant acted like a principal architect pushing back on me about governance, design patterns and strategy. The other 40% was personal growth: learning, health, family questions and ideas I wanted to think through without an audience. I was surprised how large that second share was, and then not surprised at all. To grow as a leader, you have to grow as a person, and the questions you ask privately are a good measure of that.
Try it yourself. Ask your assistant to act as a strategic career consultant and data analyst. Have it analyze your interaction history for the year, rank your top themes by frequency and complexity, explain the nature of each, and write a short professional profile of how you approach problems. Then read it the way you would read feedback from a candid colleague.
What would your own prompt history say you spent the year working on?
